How citations work

Every answer is generated from uploaded compliance documents using retrieval and source matching. The platform points back to the exact page and paragraph that supports the answer so reviewers can inspect the proof directly.

Answers are not treated as standalone text. They are tied to document names, page numbers, and supporting excerpts so both internal reviewers and external buyers can understand the evidence chain behind the response.

Trust Score model

CiteProof scores answers based on coverage, evidence strength, and recency. That helps teams review the riskiest answers first and prevents weak evidence from slipping through just because the answer looks polished.

Data protection

Documents are encrypted at rest and in transit, access is scoped to authorized users, and the platform is built to keep one organization’s evidence isolated from another’s. The goal is to protect the same source material your buyers ask you to trust.
